The Gakkenflex lives on as the clone wars have begun... just like the old days. This DIY kit is a replica of the Gakkenflex camera from Otona No Kagaku Magazine Volume 25. This kit contains just the model parts to build including Chinese instructions.

 

I managed to put this together in about 3 hours from pictures in the instructions as well as online youtube videos which are easily Google-able.

 

If you have never seen this camera it does a wonderful job of blurring and vignetting the edges like our beloved Holgas - the way we would have wanted the Holga 135's and Blackbird fly cameras - so if that is the look you are after, this is the camera to do it!
